Los Angeles County Museum
of Art
LACMA is the largest encyclopedic museum west of
Chicago. Through its far-reaching collections, the museum is both
a resource to and a reflection of the many cultural communities and
heritages in Southern California.
A request was awarded to enable the purchase of a major
new framed drawing by Nathan Mabry for the museum’s collection.
Mabry’s work refers to Mixtec and Aztec objects within an
American minimalist sensibility.
