Armory Center for the
Arts The Armory Center for the Arts is a community arts center that offers innovative approaches to creating, exploring, and presenting the visual arts to students of all ages. In addition to providing an outlet for contemporary art exhibitions and performances, the Armory offers studio art classes and a variety of educational outreach programs to schools and in the community. Funding for a major exhibition marking the Armory’s 20th anniversary at its current location. The exhibit, “Installations Inside/Out,” will feature commissioned, large-scale art installations by 20 artists with historical ties to the Armory, including Bruce Naumann, Daniel Buren, Ed Ruscha, Kim Abeles, Betye Saar and Pae White. 9/20/09 – 12/31/09
